By completing and signing the Reservation Application Form, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions: 

TRIP ASSISTANCE: This trip will be fully escorted from departure San Francisco until arrival New York by experienced executives and tour managers of Griffin International LLC (Griffin). In addition, experienced staff members and local guides from our overseas agents will assist you in each country. We are members of IATM – the International Association of Tour Managers.
CITY OF ORGIN: This trip will originate in San Francisco and will conclude in New York. Call us before you make any domestic air reservations. The around the world airfare may include your domestic air fares.
SINGLE ACCOMMODATIONS: Single travelers are always welcome on our trips. A limited number of single accommodations are available at an additional charge of $ 2,995. If you wish to share, we will do our best to assist you in locating a roommate.
PASSPORTS: All participants must be in possession of a valid passport. All passports must remain valid for at least six months beyond the return date of this trip. If you do not have a passport or need to renew it you should apply for it immediately.
VISAS: Are required for travel to the People’s Republic of China, India, and Turkey. Visas are also required for Cambodia in conjunction with the optional air excursion to Angkor Wat. Visa application forms with detailed instructions will be sent to you. Important: A valid passport is required before any visa can be issued and all visas must be secured prior to departure. Visa fees are additional.
INOCULATIONS: Information regarding any required and/or recommended inoculations and other pertinent health information will be sent to you as you register for this trip. We suggest you also consult with your family physician.
TRIP INFORMATION: After your reservations are confirmed, you will receive detailed information and instructions to assist you in preparing for this circumnavigation of the globe.
INSURANCE: For your protection we have included comprehensive travel insurance in the price of the trip. It includes trip cancellation protection up to $13,500, $50,000 health and accident insurance, $250,000 medical evacuation, $750 trip interruption and $2,500 baggage insurance. The coverage is provided through Travelex Insurance and includes protection for pre-existing conditions. Additional coverage may be available. For more information call us at 800/433-3500.
RATE INFORMATION: Prices are quoted on a per-person, double-occupancy basis. Prices are subject to change prior to departure due to any currency fluctuation, fare increases, or schedule changes. The latest tariff at the time of departure is applicable.
NOT INCLUDED: Passport and visa fees, excess baggage charges, any additional travel insurance coverage, and any airline fuel surcharges. Food and beverages, other than as outlined in the program, personal expenditures, such as laundry, communication charges, room service, and gratuities to guides and drivers. Passenger facility charges, taxes, and security charges at U.S. and foreign airports. The around the world airfare may include your domestic USA air fares. 

MEALS: The majority of meals are included in the price of the trip- all breakfasts and most lunches and dinners at the hotels, in restaurants or in-flight. We have found that some participants enjoy trying local restaurants on their own. To accommodate them we have left out a few lunches and dinners. Check the day by day itinerary for details. The hotel concierge and/or our local guides will be able to recommend local restaurants.

AIR TRANSPORTATION: This trip includes economy class air transportation from departure San Francisco around the world until arrival New York. The around the world airfare may include your domestic USA air fares. Optional upgrades on airline flight segments to Business Class or First Class may be available upon request. Whenever possible, air carriers that are members of the Star Alliance will be used in conjunction with this trip. Join any of the Star Alliance airline frequent flyer programs, and you can earn and/or redeem miles or points with all 17 member airlines. Call us for a list of members. If you have accumulated miles or points on any Star Alliance member airline, you may be able to use them in conjunction with this trip. For more information, please contact the appropriate airline directly. If you plan to use your miles for any air segment of this trip we will issue an appropriate credit for that particular air segment or air segments. Voluntary air routing deviations will be subject to availability and any fare adjustments. Airfares are subject to change prior to departure. Air tickets are subject to cancellation fees imposed by the airlines. Any IATA member airline may be used in conjunction with this program.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS: Space on this trip is limited. All reservations will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. A completed Reservation Application Form and deposit of $1250 per person will be required to confirm your reservations. All trip deposits are payable by check. Call us for other payment options. The deposit amount includes the regular deposit amount required by our suppliers and the premium for the included trip insurance provided through Travelex Insurance. If the trip is fully booked when your reservation is received, your payment will be returned within seven days, or with your authorization, we will retain your deposit and place your name on a priority waiting list in case other participants cancel their reservations. We reserve the right to invoice for the correct trip amount. Final payment will be due by check one hundred-twenty (120) days prior to departure. Late bookings are welcome. If you are unable to join us for this trip, please contact us for future Around the World tours. We are planning more trips with different and unusual itineraries.
CANCELLATIONS: Full refund for cancellations received by Griffin up to one hundred twenty-one (121) days prior to departure, less an administrative fee of $200 per person. For cancellations received by Griffin one hundred and twenty (120) to sixty-one (61) days prior to departure, the cancellation fee will be fifty percent. There will be no refund for cancellations received by Griffin sixty (60) days or less prior to departure or for no-shows. No refunds will be made for unused services or trip features, regardless of the reason (such as State Department Travel Advisories). All cancellations must be sent in writing and received by Griffin within the time limits specified above. RESPONSIBILITY: Griffin acts only in the capacity of an agent for Travis Overseas Corporation of Los Angeles, its subcontractors, and the suppliers of the travel services provided in connection with this trip (the Suppliers”), including hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and services provided incident thereto, entertainment, and transportation whether by air, railroad, motorcoach, automobile, steamship or otherwise. Therefore, Griffin assumes no responsibility for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason (1) any act or omission of any of the Suppliers (2) any matter beyond the exclusive control of Griffin including but not limited to a delay or cancellation of a flight that causes the participant to miss any portion of the trip. We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible problems at destinations, we recommend contacting the Travel Advisories Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or For medical information, we recommend contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). Griffin reserves the right to change the itinerary of the trip, delete and/or substitute cities to be visited, change the class of service and the mode of transportation, all without prior notice, to the extent that such services and accommodations offered cannot be supplied due to delays, unsuitability, mechanical problems, weather, change of ownership or other causes beyond the exclusive control of Griffin. Any additional costs will be borne by the participant. Griffin further reserves the right to withdraw the trip prior to the date of departure. Further, Griffin reserves the right to decline or accept or retain any participant should such person’s health or deportment impede the operation of the trip or enjoyment of any other participant. In such case, a refund of unused land tour services is the limit of Griffin’s liability should such person be required to depart the trip. The rights and remedies made available under this agreement are in addition to any other rights and remedies available under applicable law. However, we offer refunds under this agreement with the express understanding that the receipt of that refund by a passenger waives the additional remedies. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be determined solely by the courts in St. Louis, MO and the participant hereby consents to the jurisdiction of said courts.
